May 14, 2021 – Coming soon straight out of the graveyard a new EP from Hagy Lane. We are soon to receive a sneak peak in the cover of Duran Duran ordinary world. Keep an ear out on may 16th, follow the links below for more information.
Bio: In 1996, HAGY LANE’S “creator” had a twinkle of creativity in a small apartment in Chatham, Ontario. Early rumblings began of a sound that would eventually become epic. Many influences during this twinkle emulated Marilyn Manson, White Zombie, Skinny Puppy, Depeche Mode, and Ministry.

The year 2000 brought the creator to Harrisburg, PA. He would join forces with a band there. At a much later date this band will become “Suicide Puppets”, but it’s rehearsal space location on Hagy Lane would lend the conception to the band name.

During the time the creator resided in Pennsylvania. He would in 2001 be recruited to “Spinebelt” who than were touring their latest release. The creator toured in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Spinebelt shared the stage with established acts such as Marilyn Manson, Halestorm, Dope, Saliva, and many more. Eventually creative differences resulted in a mutual parting of ways and the creator returned to Canada.

Once home it was time to focus on Hagy Lane. In late 2006 and 2007 recording began for an EP named “In the Beginning” which can be found on all music profile sites such as Spotify, ITunes etc. Producer Lorne Loulas (ICP & D12) joined ranks with the creator and Soweto Productions (Ted Nugent, Kid Rock) to deliver a substantial album. Several hundred copies of the EP were sold and airplay in the US in support. In 2008 a young family and it’s demands required the creator to cease touring and promotion.

Fast forward to 2019. Once again the creator felt a longing to return to the music industry. In the privacy of his home studio, work began. Recruiting Dawn of Ashes producer Kristof Bathory and an array of sounds courtesy of Nero Bellum of Scold, Psyclone Nine, and Not My God work began. Hagy Lane’s creator Reverend E.A Flamell is collaborating with Kristof Bathory to produce a followup album. The new album promises to “wow” it’s audience and will have stronger influences to an industrial sound. The dark mysterious sound will be iced with layered vocals and gutteral stabs. The ripping guitars will shred you from the inside out and the drums will ache with a painful throbbing heart beat .
