Speaking With Ghosts is a metalcore band from Chicago, IL that combines high-energy riffs, melodic choruses, and skull-crushing breakdowns to deliver a truly unique, raw, and emotionally charged sound to the metalcore scene. With their first release, ‘Searching For Direction’, the band scratched the surface of their core sound that was further expanded upon with the follow-up album, Illuminated, which was released in November of 2017 via Famined Records. Illuminated brought forth successful singles such as ‘Woven In Gold’ which made Spotify’s New Core and Metal Zone playlists, and Roadblocks which made Spotify’s New Metal playlist, collectively passing 1 million streams in its first year. 2019 the band released a follow up EP Into The grey which landed the band in various Spotify playlists, hitting 500k streams in 4 months (notable singles Writing On The Walls & Left For Dead) and a tour with metalcore giant Upon A Burning Body. Speaking With Ghosts plans to expand their reach in 2020 with the release of new music and multiple U.S. tours.
