“Defragment” by Awaken Circle is a very different listening experience. The music seems to have its roots in European classical fundamentals. With a whaling guitar, thundering bass and pounding drums. That is not where it gets you, it’s the drastic contrast in vocals. They combination works much like the band Semblant. It was exciting to listen to with great vocal styling with a bit of a music box at the end for dramatic effect. Well written and well done.
