We are Sthomia, a Brazilian post punk and electronic rock band. We started promoting our new album called Black Velvet and we would be proud to have your appreciation and support. Sthomia is influenced by: Post-punk 80s, gothic metal, vampire metal, dark styles in black and white with a sound focused on contemporary industrial metal. Bands such as Joy Division, Bauhaus, Lacrimosa, Lacuna Coil, Rammstein and Paradise Lost can have their echoes within Sthomia’s sound mix.
Alex Brandes formed the project, multi instrumentalist and vocalist of Sthomia late 80’s, with influence in post-punk.With several formations in the 90s, a band played on local radios, having a good eye for musical criticism about rare sound influences at the time. After a long period of years, the band returned as a project of renewal and partnerships in artistic and musical production that established a new structure for 2020.
Today Sthomia is composed of:
Alex Brandes: – Multi instrumentalist, guitarist, programmer and voice of Sthomia.
Dermival Estlin Junior: – Musician Solo guitarist, composer and arranger.
Andi Castro: – Musician Bassist, multi instrumentalist with several passages many bands .
Tairel Lopes: – Drummer and sequencer .
